  1. Empirical: Science relies on empirical evidence gathered through observations and measurements. It emphasizes the importance of objective and unbiased data collection.
  2. Testable and Falsifiable: Scientific hypotheses and theories must be formulated in a way that allows them to be tested and potentially proven false. The scientific method involves making predictions that can be verified or refuted through experimentation or observation.
  3. Replicable: Scientific experiments and studies should be replicable, meaning that other researchers should be able to conduct the same experiment or study and obtain similar results. Replication helps validate scientific findings and ensure their reliability.
  4. Based on Natural Laws: Science seeks to uncover the natural laws and principles that govern the universe. It focuses on explaining phenomena through natural causes and does not invoke supernatural or paranormal explanations.
